We're back! (from that vacation you didn't know we were going on) I meant to write a quick post before we left on the 5th to let y'all know what we were up to (I even snapped some pictures on my phone of Indy when she insisted on being zipped up in our duffle bag), but amidst the flurry of packing and cleaning (do you deep-clean your house before leaving on a trip? I love coming home to a clean house), it just didn't happen. We spent 3 days in Governor Dodge state park in Wisconsin and 7 days in Door County, WI with my whole family. It was a packed trip, and I obviously have a ton of pictures which I'll share over the next few days. It feels good to be home and back in this space :)

Yesterday we went and saw our first movie in the theatre since Indy was born: Moonrise Kingdom. Alan's parents just recently moved back from California, so his mom watched Indy or us while Alan and I and his dad popped around the corner to The Glen to catch the 6 o'clock show. 

It was a very fitting place to see such a movie. There were only five of us in the little theatre, and someone had to pop out to ask an employee to fix the audio halfway through, but it was nevertheless a charming movie and overall experience.
