It's getting into the season where most knitting projects will have to be secret (until after Christmas, at least). Hopefully I'll still have a thing to share, here and there. These mittens are also from Vintage Knits Modern Babies, knit up in a navy cotton worsted that I snagged on clearance at the craft store (and can no longer remember who makes it). It's a nice cotton with a bit of a sheen (unlike the cotton that is usually used for things like dishrags). The mittens knit up quickly and easily with straight needles, and Indy is a little bit obsessed with them! It always feels good when your children are delighted with a handmade item.
