easter eggs

We hard-boiled eggs for egg salad lunch today, so it seemed like just as good a time as any to dye some eggs. This was the both the first time I had ever attempted dying brown eggs, and the first time I was using natural dyes, and I was definitely curious to see how they would take the dye.

Someone was having a bit of a grumpy day. . .

I think they turned out beautifully! The blue sort of took on a tie-dye look, it's my favorite (and the egg salad was pretty good too!)

blueberries

One of Indy's favorite foods is frozen blueberries. Usually she's a decently tidy eater, but sometimes the snack must just be too good to care.
